Chrismas Message 
A word crosses my mind
as Christmas draws nigh.
We all hear it, and yet,
its significance is passed by
It is a word not used in common conversation,
but the term is never omitted no matter the interpretation.
Of the most beautiful story told on this Christmas day The story of the birth of a marvelous baby boy.
The Bible tells us
"This shall be a sign…
a child wrapped in swaddling clothes and in a manger he lies".
Swaddling is the word I speak to you of.
Its meaning is that of embracement, protection and well, caring love.
As I searched for a Christmas message to behold, this is the prayer I wish to have told.
Swaddle us Oh Lord in your most comforting way
Keep us on the righteous path and protect us from falling astray.

Happy Birthday John and Carolyn !!!!
December at Banana Bank is always a busy month as not only does it mark the beginning of our busy season and Christmas but both John and Carolyn celebrate their birthdays. John turned 70 on December 13th and Carolyn turns ….. ehem ….. on December 31st. Click on the picture and you will see some awesome dancing !! Boy I hope I can dance like that when I grow up !! Every year about 40 to 50 elderly are invited to Banana Bank for a Chrismas Lunch and afternoon full of fun and games. This has been a tradition now for several years and is much looked forward to by participants.
