Over the past several weeks the BP oil blow out has spouted many,many barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico and causing oily beaches all over the U.S. Gulf Coast. So far no real method of closing the well has become available. With the cutting of the pipe, this increased the flow of crude oil into the water. It took a few weeks for the crude or crud to reach the beaches. Now all that extra oil is on the way to the already oily beaches.
